Dr. Majid Shahriari was a colleague of another professor, Massoud A. Mohammadi, who was killed, on 01/12/2010, in the same fashion. Each of the attacks appear to have targeted academics and have been taking place in the same manner.
"A motorbike rider has forged the cars of both these professors, around 7:45 local time, attached a bomb to them, and ran away" reporters in Tehran said.
It's unclear if the blast was carried out by foreign governments who are actively seeking to undermine Iran's nuclear programme. Many in Iran believe that the Western powers have a hand in the attacks.
The reported attacks came a day after the top US military officer, Admiral Mike Mullen in an interview to CNN said that the USA was weighing military options in the face of Tehran's announcement it had an atomic power plant up and running.
Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the US joint chiefs of staff said that he does not believe that Iran's nuclear plant is for civilian use "for a second."
"In a criminal terrorist act, the agents of the Zionist regime (referring to the Israeli Mossad) attacked two prominent university professors who were on their way to work," Iran's state television's website reported.
According to initial investigation in both cases pairs on motorcycles conjugated to the cars of the two scientists in the rush hour of the morning almost simultaneously. The second rider attached a magnetic explosive device to the doors of the cars where the driver was seating. The explosive devices were detonated with some sort of delay few seconds later after the motorcycles drew away off the scene. Before drawing away the second rider on each motorcycle shot few shots toward the head of the scientists leaving them with almost no chance to survive.
The Iranian authorities later admitted that the magnetic explosive devices, also known as sticky bombs and used often in Iraq by pro-Iranian militias, were from Iranian manufacture.
Dr. Fereydoon Abbasi was appointed by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, on Sunday 02/13/2011, to the Head of the Iranian Agency for Atomic Energy - IAAE and one of the president's deputies.
Professor Majid Shahriari (ca. 1970 - November 29, 2010), was a quantum physicist who worked with the Iranian Atomic Energy Commission. He specialised in neutron transport, a phenomenon that lies at the heart of nuclear chain reactions in bombs and reactors. According to The Guardian he "had no known links to banned nuclear work". According to Al Jazeera he was a quantum physicist and was not a political figure at all" and he "was not involved in Iran's nuclear programme".
Some media reports said he taught at the Supreme National Defense University, which is run by the Iranian Army. Shahriari published dozens of esoteric conference reports and peer-reviewed articles on nuclear research.
On November 29, 2010, unidentified assailants riding motorcycles launched separate bomb attacks, killing Shahriari and injuring nuclear scientist Fereydoon Abbasi, a professor at Shahid Beheshti University where Shahriari also taught. Dr. Abbasi's wife was also hurt. The killers had attached bombs to the professors' cars and detonated them from a distance.
Iranian officials have variously blamed Israel and the United States for assassinating Shahriari. Saeed Jalili, Iran's chief nuclear negotiator, was quoted as saying Western nations "exercise terrorism to liquidate Iran's nuclear scientists."

A few years ago, when I was trying to sleep on one of those hot summer night in Tehran, I felt a heavy body on top of me in a such a way that I was not able to breath out at all. I was so frightened and I tried to fight with this invisible creature. I remember that I saw death in front of me as I found this invisible creature very powerful.
I called a relative the next day. She told me I had a Bakhtak. She told me it is common phenomena. She suggested I recite few times the following Surahs 4 Qul in order to sleep smoothly through the night.
These Surahs are as follow:
A) Surah-Kaferoon
{1} Say: O ye that reject Faith!
{2} I worship not that which ye worship,
{3} Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
{4} And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship,
{5} Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
{6} To you be your Way, and to me mine.
B) Surah-Ikhlas
{1} Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;
{2} Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
{3} He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
{4} And there is none like unto Him.
C) Surah-Falak
{1} Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn,
{2} From the mischief of created things;
{3} From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads;
{4} From the mischief of those who practise secret Arts;
{5} And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy.
D) Surah-Naas
{1} Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind,
{2} The King (or Ruler) of Mankind,
{3} The God (or Judge) of Mankind,
{4} From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),
{5} (The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,
{6} Among Jinns and among Men.

Organ trade is the trade involving human organs for transplantation. There is a worldwide shortage of organs available for transplantation, possibly a result of regulations forbidding their trafficking.
In the 1970s pharmaceuticals that prevent organ rejection were introduced. This along with a lack of medical regulation helped foster the organ market. Living donor procedures include kidney, liver, cornea and lung transplants. Most organ trade involves kidney or liver transplants.
Before legislation passed in 1994, India had a successful legal market in organ trading. Low cost and availability brought in business from around the globe and transformed India into one of the largest kidney transplant centers in the world. Several problems began surfacing during the period of legal organ trade in India. In some cases patients were unaware a kidney transplant procedure even took place. Other problems included patients being promised an amount much higher than what was actually paid out. Ethical issues surrounding contribution donating pushed the Indian government to pass legislation banning the sale of organs.
The sale of organs was legal in the Philippines until a ban took effect in March 2008.
In China, organs are often procured from executed prisoners. Nicholas Bequelin, a researcher for Human Rights Watch, estimated that 90 percent of organs from China are from deceased prisoners.China still suffers a shortage of organs for transplant even with more lax regulation. The Chinese government, after receiving severe scrutiny from the rest of the world, has passed legislation ending the legal sale of organs. However, no legislation currently prohibits the collection of organs from deceased inmates who sign agreements before execution.
In Iran the practice of selling one's kidney for profit is legal. Iran currently has no wait lists for Kidney transplantation. Kidney sales are legal and regulated. The Charity Association for the Support of Kidney Patients (CASKP) and the Charity Foundation for Special Diseases (CFSD) control the trade of organs with the support of the government. The organizations match donors to recipients, setting up tests to ensure compatibility. The amounts paid to the donor vary in Iran but the average figures are $1200 for kidney donation. Employment opportunities are also offered in some cases.

I watched a documentary program on killing innocent children in Nigeria. Apparantly an Evangelist church denounces many children as witches who should be killed!!
I was very troubled to see images of beautiful innocent children who had been murdered by a group of misguided church goers.
I pray that one day very soon this barbaric practice will come to an end.

Law is the distinguishing mark of human civilisation. All progress made by humanity coincides with the consolidation of rights. The challenge that Israel’s aggression against Gaza poses to us consists in affirming, when confronted with such great suffering, that the response to violence is justice.
War crimes? Only courts are able to bring about a sentence, but all of us can bear witness, because a human being only exists in his relationship with others. The circumstances show the breadth of their dimension in Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1949, «All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.»
The protection of populations, and not only of States, is the reason why the International Criminal Court exists. A population without a State is the most threatened of all, and before History, they are placed under the protection of international bodies. The most vulnerable populations must be the most protected. Killing Palestinian civilians, the Israeli armoured tanks have caused humanity as a whole to bleed. We have been insisting that the power of the Prosecutor be put at the service of all the victims, and this task must allow that the entire world receives a message of hope, that of the construction of international rights based on human rights. And together, one day, we can pay homage to the Palestinian people for the contribution that they have given to the defence of human freedom.
